Kate Cogdall and her family are some of my favorite clients and over the years have become close personal friends as well.  I photographed Kate and Mike's wedding in 2006, followed by their first-born, Romy, in my baby's first year collection, and now we are starting the cycle again with their second daughter, LuLu, born two weeks ago.  I have loved documenting this beautiful family grow & am so thrilled to be working with them again since it means I get to see them (at least) every three months for the next year!  Fabulous!  Love that!!  Kate, you lucky lady, you managed to stay gorgeous all the way through another pregnancy! I can only hope to have a similar amount of grace should the day ever come.  Congratulations to you and Mike both on the beautiful new addition, she is perfect.  Photos coming soon... XOX

Wow!! January has been chalk full of new babies in my immediate world.  :-) I photographed Nathanael and Cherell's wedding back in 2006 and am grateful I was able welcome their first son, Kingston, into this world on his first day home from the hospital. He was born on January 20, 2011.  The Folkerts are long time friends and I am happy to say this will be the first of many posts about this little man too. Kingston, welcome to earth baby!  You have a lot of love all around you and you always will.

It feels like I get to be part of people's family histories when I document their major life events.  Creating visual artifacts for others connects me to those experiences in a way that is undeniably significant...and it fills me up!  I think that perhaps art and love are one and the same thing. In following that logic, the more love I witness/document, the better artist I will become.  Cool.  I'll take it!

Oh Baby!  I officially introduce, in the first of many posts, Hayden Elizabeth Kahl, born on December 16, 2010.  She is a beyond perfect precious wonderful baby girl that I just want to love and hold and squeeze and photograph until my battery dies.  More to come very soon... This was only our first meeting, a fly by encounter really, but I had to share these few shots...

Heather Allen is one of Denver's premier wedding and event planners and the owner/president of the nationally expanding Table 6 Productions!  In fact, she has been nominated for Event Planner of the Year 2010!!  (Take a second and vote for her!)  Heather and I met about five years ago as a result of working in the same industry, but we have grown closer and closer over the years and I am proud to have her not only as a supporter of my business, but also in my life as a dear friend. It is always an honor to work with this talented woman and of course I was flattered she wanted me to take new head shots for her.  She just got this cute new haircut and it is important that she look like herself when she WINS the award!  :-)  Fingers crossed for you Heather!  And no matter what happens, keep smiling that beautiful smile of yours and know you are one of the brightest stars in the sky.
